Welcome to PathPoint! Established in 1964, PathPoint (originally known as Work Training Programs, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities or disadvantages to reach their fullest potential. PathPoint is a leader in the field of supported employment and housing support services in California, serving over 2000 people each year in the five counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and Kern. PathPoint supported housing services have received national recognition and our employment services continually achieve the highest of accreditation ratings.

The mission of PathPoint is to provide comprehensive training and support services that empower people with disabilities or disadvantages to live and work as valued members of our communities.

What's New

Best Managed Nonprofit of the Year Award!  At an award banquet hosted by the San Fernando Valley Business Times on May 12, 2010, PathPoint Los Angeles was honored as the Best Managed Nonprofit of the Year.  Bill Murphy, PathPoint VP for Los Angeles, and other key staff were there to receive the award.  To read more about Bill and his management of the Los Angeles Division, click here.

PathPoint enters the age of social networking!  If you're on Facebook, sign up now to become a "fan" of PathPoint. Simply do a Facebook search for PathPoint and click on the response that shows our logo.  Becoming a fan will provide you with frequent updates about the people and events that are important to us.

Outstanding Community Partner Award.  In their January meeting, the PathPoint board of directors were presented with the Outstanding Community Partner Award by the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara.  This was the first year that HACSB gave out this award, which was the result of a vote by all Housing Authority staff.

New Self-Advocacy Fund.  Pathpoint has established the Sally Sharp Self-Advocacy Fund as a way to support people with disabilities or disadvantages to exercise more input into the issues that directly affect their lives.  Donations to the fund are tax-deductible and a great way to be a part of building true community independence.
