COVID-19 Update - Online Support Services

In these times of crisis, I go back to our mission: supporting people in living the life they choose. Although the coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed how we deliver our services, we are dedicated to people with disabilities, people with mental health diagnoses, and young adults with barriers to employment.

We are committed to the health and safety of the 2,878 individuals we support and our staff and have made modifications in how we deliver services. For example, although our day program facilities have temporarily closed, due to the shelter at home order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, we are using technology to offer online learning. We remain connected to the people we support through phone and video check-ins. Our Behavioral Health counselors are offering telehealth calls. Every single one of our programs is running!

Our safety precautions have ramped up: wearing personal protective equipment if working directly with individuals, keeping a six-foot social distance between people, and enabling staff to work from home when possible. Our operating philosophy is to take universal safety precautions--assuming anyone might be contagious and acting proactively.

We are extremely thankful to the people we support, our staff, our community partners such as local businesses and Regional Centers, for being flexible and understanding as we all try our best during this unprecedented challenge we collectively face.

Thank you for all that you are doing to be healthy, safe and kind,
Harry
