PathPoint works to reflect the mosaic that is representative of the communities we serve. We actively strive to be a people-centered organization that values and respects the perspectives, freedoms and contributions of all. We proactively empower everyone to feel seen, heard and valued as the whole person that they are. We prioritize open dialogue, collaborative decision-making and continuous learning as cornerstones of our company culture. Our talented staff are the driving force behind this endeavor. PathPoint stands with people of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, languages, cultures, faiths and abilities who share our values.
Employees and the people we support are the heart of PathPoint. Without a diverse and equitable workforce, we cannot adequately provide high-quality and effective services, or reach our full potential. We commit to ensuring that the basic tenets of respect and human dignity are extended to all members of our organization. PathPoint stands against white supremacy and all the ways in which it manifests. Inaction leads to the passive endorsement of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and all other forms of discrimination.
By becoming an inclusive organization, PathPoint fosters an environment of empowerment so that everyone can be their authentic self and contribute meaningfully to our mission. Diversity enhances employee engagement, which drives innovation and continuous improvement. Cultural humility creates an environment of growth, where our staff and the people we support feel safe, welcomed, and included. PathPoint is an industry-leader and as such, we must embrace inclusivity to maintain our integrity in the community.
Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team is an active staff group that meets quarterly to assess progress on our Inclusiveness Blueprint and recommend additional action items. The Blueprint currently includes 27 action items focused on organizational culture, community relations, disparities in people served, and staff development. The Team is open to all staff and includes our CEO and staff from a variety of roles and backgrounds.
